What can you see at night?
At night at sea you see lights, not boats. Mark the lights in front of you and Nav Lights tells you what vessel it is, which side you are looking at and who must give way. Type a buoy or lighthouse light as shown on the chart and see the mark drawn with its real flash. Works offline, made for use on board.

COLREGs lights and buoyage in your pocket
Made for anyone sailing at night, anyone preparing a boating licence and anyone who wants to finally understand what is in front of them.
Which vessel is it?
Add the lights you see, one above the other, her sidelights and any lights either side of the mast. The app tells you what vessel it is, where she is heading and who must give way, with the COLREGs rule and her day shape.
Every COLREGs vessel
Power-driven of every length, sailing, towing, fishing, not under command, restricted in ability to manoeuvre, dredgers, minesweepers, pilots, at anchor and aground. If the lights fit several vessels, it shows you all of them.
Which buoy or light is it?
Type the light as shown on the chart, for example Fl(2) R 6s or Q(6)+LFl 15s, and see the buoy with its topmark, the light flashing with its real rhythm and which side to pass. Lateral, cardinal, isolated danger, safe water and special marks, in IALA regions A and B.
Flash timer
See a light blinking and not sure what it is? Hold the button while it is on and release when it goes off. The app measures the flashes and the period and tells you which mark it is.
Red night mode
The whole screen in red so you keep your night vision in the cockpit.
Offline, no data collected
No signal needed, no account and no data collected. In English, Spanish and French.
How it looks on board
Dark design and large type, easy to read in the cockpit without losing your night vision.

Sail at night with confidence
It does not replace a proper lookout or the chart, but it gives you a clear answer when you need one.
If you are studying for a licence
Lights, day shapes and buoyage come up in every exam. Practise with real cases instead of memorising tables.
If you sail at night
A quick check of what vessel is ahead, where she is heading and whether you must give way.
If you enter an unfamiliar harbour
Type the light from the chart and check which mark it is and which side to leave it before you get there.
